There are numerous hotels and several small Bed and Breakfasts on Maui. When you come, you can either stay in accommodations o
f your own choosing and arranging or allow us to assist you. Depending on availability, your budget and your needs, we will book you in charming local accommodations in what is known as “upcountry Maui” so they are as close as possible to where your sessions will be held, minimizing your need to know your way around.
The accommodations we book you in are all self-contained private studios, cottages or houses fully out-fitted with kitchens/kitchenettes, linens or, if you prefer the more “hotel-style” or Bed and Breakfast-style (a room in someone’s house) , we can assist you with that as well. While you can certainly arrange your own accommodations if you prefer, the benefit of having us do it for you is that you can rest assured that the vacation rental will be safe, cute and clean.
It would be best if you call us to discuss your specific needs, number of people, timeline, etc, but to get you thinking….we are providing a series of pictures from the accommodations that we typically arrange for you. These are (obviously) in a lush garden setting at an elevation of 1000-1400 or so. This means that the temperature is about 10 degrees cooler than sea level and much more comfortable! The range is usually in the 60′s at night and 80′s in the day.
The prices range from $89 a night to $150 for studios and cottages, and $300-500 a night for full houses (sleeping from 6-10+).
These accommodations are just 15-20 minutes away from Costco, the airport, “Town” etc., and 2-10 minutes away from a variety of excellent restaurants and shopping in the Makawao, Haiku, Paia area. While these are in lush tropical settings, beautiful beaches are just minutes away.
